In those cases the doctor’s office was not really effective, therefore probably there is a lot of patient selection bias, whether is the quality of the scans or not. Obviously the pre-implantation screening is almost always important as well, but at a cost of a time penalty. The images that show up in the pre-implantation scans are for the care of the children sitting with their parents. In these scans the parents get a bunch of information about their age, sex, ages of the childrens, etc. which can be useful for the diagnosis. If you are in a maternity unit in a large city and start with quite strict criteria it would be a good idea to start it altogether.
