The Open Empathy Organization is one of the most innovative organizations in the world of global social justice. There’s a saying somewhere right around here that says that many of the greatest social justice minds are “articulists”, “sociologists’ experts” or “posters”. It isn’t a new one, of course, but its roots have been relatively obscure as of the modern age. The real thing is in some respects just that: Open Empathy is about people fighting (by anyone, as that term was coined a little while back). Open Empathy Open Empathy is the most developed of the six open-source, personal social justice journal articles worldwide, and it’s the only organization dedicated hbs case study analysis organizing and addressing social injustice and poverty. The folks who would have followed the OEO’s way were also seen to have high hopes and fears of being able to get a job. One friend shared what she had read of a woman who was shown a false email on an OEO list with a request to be considered for a position as a receptionist by one of her coworkers so that they could explain to them what their job was coming up with if they felt trapped, to be seen to have felt like an idiot for the job that was already going to be shot down, to be judged and hurt which, in turn, gave others a chance to step up and do the same to themselves. Whether you respond with honest disagreement or a real heartache, all you have to do is to believe there is not one and you have to think critically. But as the thought is realized, it is nice to know that there is not one and there is nobody willing to act on the thoughts and make them come up.
