Western Chemical Corp.: Divisional Performance Measurement (A) is a methodology developed for the measurement of occupational performance, particularly in the field of environmental diagnosis of food and food processing, in one or more of the production lines of the general chemical industry of Canada. Therefore the system should be useful for tracking such changes in the control phase (from production line processing, to the setting of an industrial food laboratory), such as ‘waste processing.’ We are developing the system as a unit laboratory in collaboration with the Center for Health and Medical Performance Medicine at the University of Essex, where we have published work concerning measures such as the average and maximum gross material (GM) of the food processing yard (GPM) area, number of decannulated samples and the output per unit volume of feed remaining. These numbers are then optimised to suit the scale and scale of the system. We have also tested and studied using various combinations of different quantities such as wood per volume and mechanical loadings and maximum output and minimum samples.
